This is a static publication. We do not operate user accounts, comment systems, or personalisation features. We do not set advertising or marketing cookies.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard HTTP access logs, including IP address, request path, user-agent string, and timestamp. These logs are used solely to diagnose availability problems and to defend against abuse, and are deleted on a rolling basis.

Fonts and external resources

Typographic fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Because the browser connects directly to Google's servers, those requests may be logged by Google as a technical matter of serving the font. No account information is transmitted by us.

Correspondence

Letters and telephone calls sent to the editorial office are retained for the ordinary conduct of the journal's business. Submission materials are read by the relevant editors and, for essays in the main section, by readers bound by the usual conventions of academic confidentiality.
